Privacy Policy

WallUs · Last updated 28 July 2026

WallUs is a private shared photo book. There is no public feed, no followers, and no advertising. Your book is visible only to the people you invite into it.

This policy explains what the app collects, why, and who processes it. It applies to the WallUs iOS and Android apps and the services behind them.

Who we are

WallUs is operated by Leo Giroux (sole proprietor), Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].

What we collect

Your account

WallUs does not ask for an email address, phone number, or password. When you first open the app we create an anonymous account identified by a random ID. We store:

What you put in your book

Everything you tape onto a page, so it can sync to the other members of that book: photos, videos, voice notes, text notes, handwritten captions, stickers, page backgrounds, the book's title, subtitle and optional "together since" date, plus reactions and comments. Photos and videos are stored as files on our backend.

Who shares your book

Which books you belong to, who else belongs to them, whether each member can edit or only read, and the short invite codes used to join.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, we store a push token for your device so we can send the one daily evening reminder when a book's photo streak is about to lapse. You can turn notifications off in your device settings at any time.

Purchases

If you subscribe, our payment provider records your subscription status against your anonymous account ID so the app knows the subscription is active. We never see or store your card details — the transaction happens entirely inside the App Store or Google Play.
